Shawn Maldon brings executive leadership experience to public service. As the youngest elected mayor of Capitol Heights, he worked on economic development strategy, public safety initiatives, and community engagement. As an entrepreneur, he has built and managed businesses serving communities across Maryland.

Why I'm RUnning
I’m running for Maryland House of Delegates because our communities deserve leadership that delivers real results, not just promises.
I have led in business, education, and municipal government, and I have seen firsthand how policy decisions impact real families, small businesses, and everyday life. As a former mayor and entrepreneur, I understand both how government works and where it falls short.
Now, I am ready to take that experience to Annapolis and fight for practical solutions that move our district forward.
Our district needs leadership that protects families, supports small businesses, strengthens public safety, invest in our youth, and ensures government operates with transparency and accountability.
